JUS DE CITRON (1.50 Kempton, nap)

This six-year-old comes from a good jumping family and showed his quality when sauntering to victory on his debut at Doncaster 40 days ago. He was in the lead a fair way from home there and saw out the 2m4f trip with plenty left in the tank. This slightly longer trip should be right up his street and there’s a lot more to come.

LAGANHILL (2.42 Bangor, nb)

There was a lot to like about the way he scored on debut at Haydock last time. The second home has franked the form by scoring since and Henry Daly’s hope was right at home in the testing conditions.

STANLEY SPENCER (5.45 Southwell, treble)

Has had a little break since landing a win here followed by a first and second at Kempton. He saves his best for this distance and he’s proven at this level. He has at least another win in him before the handicapper really gets stuck in.

RECON MISSION (2.02 Lingfield, Lucky 15)

Has been knocking on the door and this is an excellent chance. He went down in a head-bobber over course and distance 16 days ago and a repeat of that would surely be good enough.
