Rod Millman’s five-year-old has had an excellent season and won over ten furlongs at this track earlier in the year. He has long shaped as though he is worth another try up over a mile and a half and he is still on a competitive mark. Oisin Murphy takes over in the saddle and this is less competitive than the Racing League contest he ran in last time.
LODGE (5.00 Windsor, nb)
Can remain unbeaten. The well-bred filly made a good impression when overcoming greenness to win on her debut and she has been found a golden opportunity under a penalty.
STARSONG (3.50 Brighton, treble)
Goes well at this track having won with something up her sleeve over this C&D in early August and Mick Appleby has his string in top form.
OTTOMAN (7.30 Windsor, Lucky 15)
He had no luck in running at Nottingham last time and still shaped like he was in top form in third.
