LAMINE YAMAL splashed out on a late-night burger feast for Barcelona bosses after his Ballon d’Or near-miss.
The 18-year-old was pipped by Ousmane Dembele in the battle to be crowned the best player on the planet.

But his evening still strayed into the early hours of Tuesday morning after a glitzy ceremony in Paris.
Barca president Joan Laporta revealed that the travelling party forgot to eat amid all the excitement.
But Yamal and his Barcelona team-mate, Pau Cubarsi, swiftly put that right.
Laporta told radio station RAC 1: “On the way to the airport, as we were leaving, we all realised we had barely eaten anything all day between travelling, preparing, and the gala, and we were really hungry.
“Then, on the way to the airport, Lamine Yamal saw a place that made hamburgers.
“We stopped, and he and Cubarsi got out to buy some for everyone, and we ate them on the way. They were really good.”
The Barca players and staff in attendance didn’t get to bed until 5am, despite an upcoming clash with Real Oviedo on Thursday.
Yamal, if he returns from a thigh injury in time, may still be licking the wounds of Dembele’s triumph by that point.

The teenager’s dad believes his son is “the best player in the world by far”, and he was fancied by many to take the top prize.
But Laporta insists he has taken it on the chin.
He said: “Lamine is doing well. He would have liked to win, but we fell just short of the Champions League final.
“He’s motivated to keep working and win it next year. He’ll be the best in the world.”
