LIVERPOOL have announced the signing of Milos Kerkez from Bournemouth.
The left-back joins the Anfield outfit on a five-year contract after Liverpool splashed £40m to prize him away from the Cherries.

Kerkez, 21, impressed under Andoni Iraola last season, scoring twice and registering five assists in 38 Premier League appearances.
He joins Florian Wirtz and Jeremie Frimpong as the next major arrival on Merseyside this summer.
Along with goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili, whose transfer is reportedly set to be included in this summer’s accounts despite being sealed last year, that takes Liverpool’s summer spending to a whopping £216MILLION already.
Kerkez, who has been shortlisted for the 2024-25 Men’s PFA Young Player of the Year, said it was an “honour” to join the Premier League champions – claiming no other team came close to topping them.
He told Liverpool’s website: “As everyone knows Richard Hughes [Liverpool Sporting Director] brought me to Bournemouth and was a big part why I went there.
“Obviously also important is the gaffer – I also had talks with him.
“I really knew when I talked to him and Richard that this is it for me, so that was my decision.
“We [he and Slot] talked about the tactics and the plan and where he sees where I can improve and where I can help the team.

“Obviously when the coach comes also and talks to you, it’s a big thing, it’s a big sign of respect.
“For me, there were no second doubts then that I want to go somewhere else. It was always Liverpool.
“I’m really happy and excited. It’s a real honour for me, a privilege to come to play for one of the biggest clubs in the world, biggest club in England.
Kerkez arrived in England from AZ Alkmaar in 2023, having previously spent time in AC Milan’s youth set-up too.
The 23-time Hungary cap has vowed to give his all to try and help Liverpool win even more trophies after walking the league last term.
He added: “I’m going to give everything – absolutely everything – to win trophies with the club and to hopefully score some goals at Anfield.
“I can’t wait to hear the roar. And see you [fans] soon.”
Liverpool will be well placed to compete once again given the reinforcements they have already added to Arne Slot‘s champions so far.
While they still seem keen to add more new faces before the window is up.
Reports claim that The Reds are hoping to bring in a new centre-back after closing in on an exit for Jarell Quansah.
Anfield’s top brass like Crystal Palace captain Marc Guehi as one option, while Nottingham Forest’s Murillo is also admired.
They could yet enter the race for a striker too, with negotiations for Darwin Nunez’s Kop exit also gathering pace.
Liverpool are known to be hot on Newcastle star Alexander Isak, but they could also rival Arsenal and Manchester United for Viktor Gyokeres.
