COPS are hunting for an XL bully-type dog after two people were seriously injured in a horror attack.
A man and a woman were mauled by the hound inside of a property at around 5.46pm yesterday in Worksop, in Nottinghamshire, said police.

The man sustained significant but not life-threatening injures, while the woman received an injury to her arm, confirmed Nottinghamshire Police.
A cordon was put in place while officers attempted to control the dog.
The public were asked not to visit the area while the incident was being resolved.
An update from Nottinghamshire Police on social media said: “Officers are currently dealing with an incident at a property in Maple Leaf Gardens in Worksop.
“The incident happened at around 5.46pm. Police received a report that a man and a woman had been attacked by an XL bully-type dog inside a property.”
This follows a spate of dangerous dog attacks in recent weeks.
A woman told how she was left traumatised after being mauled by an “pocket bully” in a savage attack.
Gina Evans, from Bournemouth, was bitten on her left calf by the dog on July 1.
Gina was rushed to hospital after the attack where she stayed for four days and required 22 stitches in her injured leg.
Just last week, a victim of a suspected XL Bully attack was forced to climb over a fence and leap into a river to escape the crazed dog.
It left the man hospitalised with police now appealing for information to track down the owner.
That same week a seven-year-old boy was left with serious injuries after he was mauled by a dangerously out-of-control XL Bully too.
He was savaged by his own family dog in the kitchen of his home suffering serious injuries.
Ownership of American bully XL dogs is restricted under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991.
Since December 2023, it has been illegal to sell, give away, abandon or breed from an XL bully., external
And since February 2024, it has been a criminal offence to own an XL bully without an exemption certificate.
Owners who applied for an exemption had to buy insurance, microchip their dog and pay £92.40 per animal.
Registered dogs must be housed securely, neutered and kept on a lead and muzzled in public – but not at home.
Police can seize unregistered prohibited dogs, and their owners face up to six months in jail and/or an unlimited fine.
