The striker reacted quickest to fire in a rebound after Maxence Lacroix’s header hit the bar on 64 minutes.
Mateta then finished United off int he 89th minute after bursting through on goal with Daniel Munoz.

And Palace turned the match via an an England team-mate of Mainoo who wasn’t supposed to be playing.

And his brilliant free-kick led to Mateta’s opener.
Mateta then reached ten goals for the season when Munoz teed him up for a tap-in.
