The Mason Mount Wembley “curse” reflects back to the ex-Chelsea midifelder’s apparent bad luck when he played at the iconic stadium.
Mount has suffered a number of defeats both for club and country including a notable penalty shootout defeat to Liverpool in the 2022 FA Cup final.
In the shootout, the 23-year-old player missed leading to sudden death.
Kostas Tsimikas then had the opportunity to step up and secure the trophy for the Reds.
The Red Devils star was also in the losing side of the 2020 and 2021 FA Cup finals as well as the 2022 Carabao Cup final and suffered another defeat with his former side Derby in 2019.
Mount has lost six finals at Wembley, four of which have come as a Chelsea player.
