THE UK boss of McDonald’s has admitted the firm gets “one or two” sexual harassment complaints from staff a week.
Alistair Macrow said employees routinely face bullying and abuse, some of it “truly horrific”.

He said: “We typically would see between 20 to 25 contacts per week.”
He told MPs yesterday that 400 complaints had been made since July when the BBC detailed claims of a “toxic workplace culture”.
He had been summoned by the Business and Trade Committee and asked if his firm put profit before “protecting workers”.
Mr Macrow said that was “absolutely not the case” and gave an “unreserved apology”.
The committee was given evidence including from a whistleblower that said a store manager had asked 16 year old employees for nude pictures.
He could not confirm how many staff had been offered non-disclosure agreements after resigning.
McDonald’s employs 170,000 in the UK.
Two thirds of their staff are aged 16 to 25 years old.
