EMOTIONAL tributes have been paid to a mum who died after being struck down by a car, as cops launch an urgent murder investigation.
Donna Smith, 48, was rushed to hospital after being hit by a Seat Ibiza on Hillcrest Drive, in Bradford, on Friday.

The driver fled the scene and police later discovered the vehicle ablaze nearly two miles away.
Donna tragically died three days later after sustaining critical injuries.
West Yorkshire Police charged Kiel Sanderson, 39, with wounding with intent, causing serious injury by dangerous driving and perverting the course of justice.
The defendant, of Calderstone avenue, appeared at Bradford Magistrates Court on Monday.
He is due to appear before a judge at Bradford Crown Court at the end of this month.
Flower bouquets were left outside a property in Hillside Drive following Donna’s death.
Heartbreaking tributes were also posted online.
Christine Robinson wrote on Facebook: “RIP lovely. You were so young. Full life ahead of you.”
Hayley Talbot added: “Rest in peace, Donna. Taken far too soon. Fly high honey.”
A spokesperson for the force confirmed: “Kiel Sanderson, 39 of Calderstone avenue was charged with a number of offences in relation to this incident and appeared at Bradford Magistrates Court yesterday.
“He’ll next appear at Bradford Crown Court on 30 September.
“Specially trained officers are continuing to support the family.
“Enquiries remain ongoing by the Homicide and Major Enquiry team.”
In a previous statement, the force said: “At 12.47pm police were called to reports of a serious collision on Hillcrest Drive, Bradford.
“The collision involved an adult female pedestrian and a car which failed to stop at the scene.
“The pedestrian has been taken to hospital with serious injuries.”
“A police scene is in place and enquiries are ongoing.”
