A 13-YEAR-OLD girl was left dangling in the air for “an hour” – soaking wet and terrified when a Winter Wonderland ride broke down.
Holly Harper was left terrified after a ride abruptly stopped 170 feet in the pouring sky at the popular fair in Hyde Park, London.

Holly was on a school trip when the ordeal happened
The teen had been on a school trip from Oasis Academy in Enfield when she hopped on the Airborne ride with a teacher on December 19.
But the exciting experience quickly turned into her worst nightmare when the ride suddenly stopped mid-air.
Holly’s mum Kelly was forced to watch the terrifying ordeal from her iPhone – after her niece Facetimed her from the ground below.
Mum-of-two Kelly, from Enfield, London, told The Sun: “They had only just gone up in the air when the ride just stopped suddenly – it was terrifying for her.
“It was freezing on the day and pouring it down with rain. Apparently, her teacher was terrified and swearing too.
“When she came back home, she kept moaning about how cold and wet she was. She was so scared.”
She claimed it took about an hour for the teen to be finally brought back to ground level – along with around a dozen others.
The mum further claimed that with two sets of riders on each side, workers had to slowly coax one group down – sending the other even higher into the air.

Stay-at-home mum Kelly has blasted the Hyde Park event over the “terrifying” ordeal.
She went on: “It was petrifying because there I was watching it but I couldn’t do anything to help.”
Kelly slammed staff for not checking up on the teen following the nightmare.
She said: “There was no aftercare whatsoever.
“They said she could have a refund and that’s it. It’s not like there was an ambulance there or anything like that.
“They didn’t give her a hot drink to warm up or take her anywhere to get warm.
“Staff didn’t even take names or addresses for an incident report. When they got off from the ride and left, that’s it.”
The fuming mum said she has demanded organisers for an explanation about what happened to her daughter.
She added: “I’ve tried to chase them up for an apology but so far I’ve had nothing.
“And now days later it happened again. I just wonder how many times it has happened without anyone reporting it.”
Just two weeks later, another group of unlucky thrill seekers were left suspended in the air on the very same ride.
Winter Wonderland organisers claimed that the ride was paused for just eight minutes – but witnesses have claimed it was more than 35 minutes.
The festive fair is held in Hyde Park every year, and has been dubbed as “the world’s best destination for festive fun”.
Thousands of visitors flock to the event every winter to enjoy rides, games, popular food and drink, shows and the popular Santaland.
Winter Wonderland has been approached for comment.
