A PUB has been ravaged by a “dine and dash” family of 12 who dodged a bill of £260 including a steak and ten pints.

The Britannia Inn in Par, Cornwall, claimed that on October 28 between 2pm and 4pm a family left while the waitress’ back was turned when it was time to pay.

The final bill reportedly came to £260.50Facebook

The pub took to Facebook to share CCTV pictures of the family who allegedly “dined and dashed”.

The post added: “Reward available for successful finding of these scammers.”

The family were said to have ordered a £25 rump steak and 10 pints of Stella Artois costing £5.90 each.

They also had a £17.50 lasagne and four pints of Madri at £6.20 each.

The kids ate sausage and chips, penne pasta and chicken nuggets and the final bill reportedly came to £260.50.

The restaurant later updated their social media post to say they’d got the names of the adults at the table.

It said the family had until Friday morning to own up “or we will be sharing all the names with police and on social media”.

The alleged theft has since been reported to the police.

A staff member told MailOnline that the alleged dine and dash incident was “clearly planned”.

They claimed the group “watched and waited for our staff to exit the room for 45 seconds before all running out the door”.

“When the waitress came back they were all gone,” the staff member said.

“They looked as if they were taking kids to the play area in the garden but they just left.

“They didn’t order the largest or most expensive meals or anything that would raise a red flag, some of the kids shared meals.

“They weren’t rude or anything but the CCTV just shows them deliberately getting up and going.”
