Paris 2024 Olympics LIVE: Football and rugby sevens kick off as Dujardin withdraws over leaked video – updates

THE Paris 2024 Olympics will get underway with football and rugby sevens starting TODAY.

Two-time Premier League winner Julian Alvarez is set to be in action for Argentina as they take on Morocco in the Games’ group stage opener.

The official opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympics takes place on Friday along the River Seine.

Across the 19 day sporting spectacle, athletes will be competing for 329 gold medals across 32 sports.
