THE daughter of a top RAF chief has been warned by a judge she faces up to five years in prison after being charged with GBH.

Jessica Cloke is accused of glassing a fellow British woman, leaving her with a nasty cut “from eye to neck” in a bar in Cyprus.

Cloke, 20, is the daughter of Group Captain Simon Cloke, who was in charge of the island’s Akrotiri base for three years.

He watched on as his daughter pleaded not guilty at a brief hearing held before the Sovereign Base Areas Court in Episkopi.

She only spoke to confirm her name and plea while wearing a white blouse and black trousers with trainers last Thursday.

Judge Nicholas Sanders warned her she could be jailed for up to five years if found guilty before adjourning to October 16.

He requested a more senior judge to oversee proceedings due to the seriousness of the alleged offence.

Cloke was released on bail and banned from contacting the 19-year-old victim before the trial.

She is also understood to be a “military dependant” — the partner or child of someone serving at the base.

The Sun on Sunday told how the alleged attack happened outside the base but within the island’s British Overseas Territory in August.

A source said: “This was a vicious incident between two British women which could have ended far worse.

“The victim was glassed and left with a horrible gash from her eye to her neck.

“It’s a miracle it didn’t hit her eye or slash an artery.

“Her parents are absolutely distraught about what happened while she was abroad.

“Jess was supposed to be setting an exemplary example but this has risked tarnishing her father’s legacy.”

Cloke shared a Facebook picture of herself with her dad in Cyprus days before the alleged attack.

He has since been redeployed to RAF High Wycombe, in Bucks.
