Real Madrid‘s president Florentino Perez is set to chase Kylian Mbappe rather than Erling Haaland.
The La Liga giants are looking to replace Karim Benzema who left the Bernabeu in the summer.
Boss Carlo Ancelotti in the meantime has allowed newcomer Bellingham to move up the pitch to assist Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo.
But it is expected the Italian is set to recruit a new No9 at the end of the campaign.
Real have a long-standing interest in both Mbappe and Haaland having attempted to get both of their signatures previously.
And in the summer the French superstar snubbed a move to the Bernabeu and instead signed a contract extension with Paris Saint-Germain.
According to Foot Mercato Ancelotti has not given up on the 24-year-old and has proclaimed Mbappe is the more logical signing.
He is ready to make a huge financial effort to sign a striker and with Haaland looking like he’s not leaving the Etihad anytime soon the Frenchman is the perfect choice.

Perez believes Mbappe would deem to be better off playing alongside Bellingham rather than Haaland – even thought the Norweigian was at Borussia Dortmund with the Englishman.
Bellingham has made a triumphant start to life in the Spanish capital where he has scored 13 goals in 13 games in La Liga and the Champions League.
Mbappe’s uncertainty with PSG could work in Real Madrid’s favour but the Ligue 1 club could demand a mammoth price for their superstar forward.
