Who has the most Ryder Cup appearances?
Team USA’s Phil Mickelson holds the record for most Ryder Cup appearances with 12.
The six-time major champion played a total of 47 matches across the contests in 1995, 1997, 1999, 2002, 2004, 2006, 2008, 2010, 2012, 2014, 2016 and 2018.
English duo Sir Nick Faldo and Lee Westwood lead the way for Team Europe with 11 appearances, just one short of Mickelson’s overall record.
McIlroy will feature in his eighth consecutive Ryder Cup in New York, the most appearances by any player across both teams in the 2025 edition.
