SHAMED rugby star Stuart Hogg’s ex is “happy to be rid” of the domestic abuser — as it emerged their divorce had been rubber-stamped.
Gillian Hogg, 38, has returned to using her birth name of Smith as sources revealed she is now “washing her hands” of the disgraced former Scotland captain.

Public records show the split was finalised last week at Jedburgh Sheriff Court — where the lout, 33, previously admitted inflicting a five-year campaign of abuse on the mum of four.
No details of the former couple’s settlement are available.
But following the end of their nine-year marriage, an insider last night told The Scottish Sun: “Gillian is supposedly happy with the divorce settlement and even more happy to be rid of him.
“She suffered for years because of him.
“So now it’s done and dusted, she can finally wash her hands of him and move on in her life.”

The court heard how Hogg shouted and swore at Gillian after drink binges, tracked her movements and bombarded her with distressing messages.
Campaigners hit out after he dodged prison despite the outbursts leaving his ex frightened and wishing “for it to be morning as soon as possible”.
Hogg was instead sentenced to a year’s supervision and barred from contacting Gillian in January.
Weeks later, Hogg’s TV presenter girlfriend Leonna Mayor, 35, gave birth to his fifth child. They posed for pictures on holiday in Turkey.
Meanwhile, the divorced couple’s former five-bedroom home has been on the market since April in Hawick, Roxburghshire.
It has yet to sell despite £25,000 being slashed from the original £875,000 asking price.
Gillian is still a director of two of their companies — sports business One Thousand Twenty Five Ltd and SWH Properties.

Former Glasgow Warriors full-back Hogg, who joined French side Montpellier last year, still has an MBE awarded to him for services to rugby.
But politicians, including First Minister John Swinney, have called for him to be stripped of the title.
