SKY SPORTS were forced to apologise after Aston Villa’s Carabao Cup game against Wycombe cut off.

The feed momentarily cut away just after the half-time break with the match level at 0-0.

Sky Sports were forced to apologise for the issue

Initially, the screen turned green before a message came up on screen.

It read: “We’re really sorry for this temporary fault.”

Commentators also apologised for the technical error – which was not fully explained.

Fans joked even Sky were so bored of the goalless draw they decided to pack it in.

One said: “Even Sky have given up on Villa’s performance tonight, they’ve pulled the plug.”

Another added: “Sky took the Villa game off tv due to how boring we’ve been.”

One joked: “Villa playing so badly tonight they’ve broken Sky.”
