A SUDANESE immigrant raped a vulnerable student after dragging her out of a nightclub and taking her back to his flat, a court heard.
Samir Muhammad forced the young woman to undress before pinning her down on his bed and raping her despite her anguished pleas to stop, it is alleged.

Afterwards, he is said to have refused to let his victim leave and stopped her from answering calls from her concerned friends.
She cleverly used the location tool on Snapchat to inform them of her whereabouts and they came to find her, a jury was told.
After several hours, Muhammad, who was 17 at the time, finally agreed to let her go and she ran out of the building in Bournemouth, Dorset.
She met her friends and they flagged down a passing police car and reported the incident on December 5, 2021.
The court heard that Muhammad, whose immigration status is unknown, put his number into the girl’s phone, so police were able to quickly trace him.
Muhammad, who is now aged 21, has gone on trial at Bournemouth Crown Court charged with two counts of rape.
The court heard the two strangers had been to the Cameo nightclub in Bournemouth on the night of the incident.
The alleged victim later told police she only had one drink in the club and had felt ‘really drunk’ and ‘out if it’ afterwards.
Louise McCullough, prosecuting, said Muhammad approached the student in the club.
He said the defendant was clearly intent on getting her back to his flat.
He said: “He pulled her hand towards the door. She didn’t want to go but she was in her words ‘so out of it’.
“Before she knew it, and not having a chance to talk to her friends, she was out of the club and walking back to his flat.
“She was pulled up some stairs and he told her to get undressed.
“He took all her clothes off and she was told to get into bed. She said ‘no, I don’t want to’ but he ignored this and simply told her to relax.
“He was going to get what he had wanted regardless, and he grabbed both her wrists and pushed her down.
“Her efforts to resist him were futile as he simply overpowered her.
“She was worried about what he was going to do if she didn’t do as she was told.

The complainant’s taped police interview was played to the jury.
She told officers that she felt “really drunk” after having a drink in the club.
She said: “I was pretty drunk, about seven out of ten, when we got to the club but I was not unaware of what was going on.
“As we are students we pre-drank before the club to save money.
“I remember this boy dancing behind me and at first I thought he was harmless.
“I lost my friends for a while and when I saw them again one of them asked ‘please could I have a sip of your drink’.
“I had no idea where it came from but the boy came over and starting dancing behind me again.
“By then I felt really drunk and the boy said ‘come back to my flat’.
“I remember being so out of it he took my hand and pulled me towards the door. I didn’t want to go, but I was out of it.
“He took me to his room in this dirty, damp flat and forced me to take my clothes off.
“He pinned me down by my wrists and it was so awful and painful, I was flinching at the slaps and bleeding.
“He said ‘relax baby I love you’ and ‘I want you to meet my family’.
“I couldn’t believe this stranger was telling me he loved me while forcing himself on me.
“He was answering his phone and talking in different languages to them while on top of me.
“I was crying and telling him he was hurting me.
“I curled up in a ball as I felt so dirty.
“I asked to leave but he kept saying I couldn’t leave.
“I was worried about what he would do to me.”
Raising the alarm with pals
In the interview, she said she borrowed his charger to charge her phone which had run out of battery so she could raise the alarm with her friends.
She said he tried to stop her using her phone and then said she should tell them she was with her boyfriend.
She then used the Snapchat location tool to alert her friends of her whereabouts and they came to the address.
Before they arrived, she was finally able to persuade him to let her leave Sandringham House at 5.50am.
Muhammad denies two counts of rape as he says the sex was consensual.
The trial continues.
