THREE teenage boys have died in a horror crash on a Scots road.
Mercy crews raced to the scene on the A830 between Mallaig and Arisaig in the Highlands yesterday at around 11.15pm following reports of a crash involving a white Ford Fiesta.
The driver of the car and two passengers were pronounced dead at the scene.
Formal identification is yet to take place, but they were all believed to be male and in their mid-teens.
Cops closed the A830 for over 12 hours as officers conducted enquiries.
The road reopened at 11.55am this morning.
Inspector Donnie MacKinnon said: “Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the people who died as a result of this crash.
“Our enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances, and I am appealing for anyone who witnessed the crash and hasn’t already spoken to officers to get in touch.
“I would also appeal to anyone who was in the area and who may have dash cam footage which could assist to contact us.”
