TIKTOK influencer Emilie Kiser has broken her silence about the death of her three-year-old son with a gutwrenching statement.
Emilie, 26, spoke publicly on Thursday for the first time since her toddler, Trigg, drowned in May.

Trigg died six days after he drowned in the family’s Arizona backyard pool on May 12.
The toddler reportedly fell into the pool while his dad, Brady Kiser, was watching him, according to a police report partially released earlier this year.
The mom went silent on social media for months following Trigg’s death before sharing a public statement on Instagram and TikTok on Thursday.
“Loss of this magnitude feels impossible to put into words,” Emilie wrote.
“I’ve spent days, weeks, months trying to find them and also take the time I’ve needed to digest the loss of my baby.”
Emilie said Trigg’s death is “a pain, heartache, and void that no family should ever have to endure.”
The mom went on to say she takes “full accountability” for the accident, writing, “I know I should have done more to protect him.”
Trigg was unsupervised for over nine minutes near the pool while his dad wasn’t watching and his mom was out of the house, according to the agonizing timeline laid out in police reports.
Home surveillance video captured Trigg playing on an inflatable chair near the pool around 6:32 pm.
The footage shows him tripping and falling into the water, where he remained for seven minutes before his dad got him out of the water and called 911 two minutes later.
First responders performed CPR and rushed him to the hospital, where he later died.
“One of the hardest lessons I carry is that a permanent pool fence could have saved his life, and it’s something I will never overlook again,” Emilie wrote.
“I hope amidst this pain, Trigg’s story will help prevent other children and families from suffering the same loss.”
While Emilie spoke about her heartbreak in court documents, Thursday’s statement is the first time she’s addressed her followers.

Trigg is our baby and our best friend. The light and spirit he brought into this world was bright, pure, joyful, and undeniable. We miss him every second of every day and continuing forward often feels unbearable. I never thought we would experience grief in this way or the pain of losing him so suddenly. It’s a pain, heartache, and void that no family should ever have to endure. I take full accountability as Trigg’s mother, and I know I should have done more to protect him. When I started on social media in 2021 as a new mom, my goal was to connect with other moms and find a community. I have found that and so much more through all of you. I found a community, a hobby I love, and a job I am so grateful for. I have always been my authentic self on social media and tried my best to share my everyday life honestly, while also being mindful of what I didn’t choose to share. I now have seen through this tragedy how relationships online lack boundaries, especially in protecting children’s privacy. Moving forward, I will be establishing more boundaries with what I share online.
In the future, I hope to be in a place to share more about how I am navigating this grief, but right now, all I can say is thank you for the love, compassion, patience and space you’ve given us to grieve. I am more grateful for it than can ever be expressed.

The mom-of-two gained an audience as a family influencer, with over four million followers on TikTok and one million followers on Instagram.
She often vlogged about life as a mom to Trigg and the family’s second son, Theodore, who was born in March.
‘WORST MOMENT OF MY LIFE’
Following Trigg’s death, Emilie petitioned an Arizona court to keep the most heartbreaking and graphic details in the police report out of the hands of the public.
“Viewing or knowing others could view these images forces me to relive the worst moment of my life, exacerbating the situation and hindering my ability to heal,” she wrote in the filing.

Emilie ended Thursday’s statement by speaking about how she plans to move forward as a content creator.
