A MAN has tragically died after being hit by a falling tree branch in a park.
Cops rushed to the popular park in Blackpool, Lancashire, this morning following reports the branch had struck the man’s tent.

Images taken at the scene showed floral tributes had been left next to the tree at Revoe Park on Central Drive.
The tree appeared to have been blown over by gale force winds.
Lancashire Police confirmed a man had been found “unresponsive” by emergency crews.
The man’s death is not being treated as suspicious.
A force spokesperson told LancsLive: “We were called at 4.55am today to Revoe Park to a report that a tree branch had fallen on a tent and struck a man.
“The emergency services attended and found a man unresponsive.
“Despite the best efforts of medical personnel, very sadly the man – aged in his 40s – was pronounced deceased at the scene.
“Our enquiries are ongoing to trace his next of kin.
“The man’s death is not being treated as suspicious, and a file will be passed in due course to HM Coroner.”
The Met Office had previously warned of 70mph gusts, which hit most of England and Wales today.
A yellow weather warning for wind remains place for most of the country until this evening.
