COPS have launched an urgent manhunt for a hit-and-run suspect after a 12-year-old boy was killed.

Dolars Aleksanders, 21, fled the scene of the horror on Friday with cops launching an urgent hunt for him.

Keaton Slater, 12, was mowed down by a BMW driver on Friday

Officers seized a BMW involved in the crash but efforts to find the suspect are still ongoing.

West Midlands Police are now urging anyone who may see Aleksanders not to approach him – but to call 999 immediately.

Tragic Keaton was making his way home from school on Friday when he was mowed down.

Despite the best efforts of paramedics, the young Coventry City FC fan died at the scene.

Paying tribute older brother Josh Slater posted on Facebook: “RIP baby brother. You was the best uncle to my little Theo.

“And an amazing little brother to me. We will get you the Justice you deserve. Fly high and ill see you on the other side little brother. We loved you so much and we are all heartbroken.”
