CESC FABREGAS transformed from a bundle of nerves into pure ecstasy after finding out his side Como 1907 were promoted to Serie A.
The Premier League legend has been assistant manager at the Italian club since December but first joined in the summer of 2022 as a player.

He even oversaw five matches this season as caretaker manager, winning three in a huge boost for Como’s promotion campaign.
Fabregas, 37, was a key part of Osian Roberts’s coaching staff and he roared with delight after Como’s promotion was confirmed.
The Serie B minnows drew 1-1 with Cosenza so needed rivals Venezia to draw or lose, and luck was on their side as Spezia came from behind to beat Cosenza 2-1.
Como are now back in the top tier for the first time since 2003 after finishing second, completing a meteoric rise which saw the Blues play in Italy’s bottom tier Serie D as recently as 2017 after they were plunged into bankruptcy.
They are now owned by the Indonesian Djarum Group who appointed former Chelsea star Dennis Wise as chairman.
He has overseen the rebuild with help from investors Fabregas and Thierry Henry.
Leicester legend Jamie Vardy was also in attendance as Como secured promotion after being invited to the stadium by Wise in a video call during the Foxes’ own promotion celebrations.
Wise helped assemble Como’s promotion-winning squad and management team, and Fabregas has blossomed in his role.

A documentary about Fabregas is set to be released all about his journey from a player to coach, showing a new side to the former Barcelona ace.
And a teaser ahead of its release showing him dishing out the hairdryer treatment to his Como players during that short stint in charge has left fans in shock.
Fabregas is shown stood up screaming at the team while slamming his fist on a table as he tells them: “The whole game talking. Play!
“Put the balls on the field and play! Don’t always talk!”
“Always f***ing talking. And we don’t play on the pitch.”
