JARROD Bowen is the captain of Premier League club West Ham United, where he plays as a right winger or forward.
He is married to a reality TV personality, actress and Strictly star Dani Dyer, who is the daughter of EastEnders legend Danny.

Originally from Leominster, Herefordshire, Jarrod was born to a farmer’s family.
He fell in love with football at a young age, idolising England legen David Beckham.
His own football path started at local club Leominster Minors which Jarrod joined at the age of four.

The youngster began his career as a scholar at Hereford United after unsuccessful trials at Aston Villa and Cardiff City.
At the age of 17, Jarrod made his first-team debut for the club in a 2-0 loss to Barnet.
The player scored his first career goal a month later in a 3–2 home win against Alfreton Town.
After Hereford were expelled from the Football Conference in June 2014, Jarrod signed for Premier League club Hull City on on a free transfer.

He was Hull’s top scorer for both the 2017-18 and 2018-19 seasons, scoring 15 and 22 goals respectively in all competitions.
In January 2020, the footballer signed for West Ham United on a five-and-a-half-year contract.
The attacker had the perfect start to life with the Hammers, scoring on his debut in a 3-1 win over Southampton FC.
In October 2021, Jarrod scored his first goal in European football during the 2021–22 UEFA Europa League group stage in a 3–0 win over Genk.
The 26-year-old finished the season as West Ham’s top scorer with 18 goals in all competitions.
In October 2023, Jarrod signed a new contract with the club until June 2030.
A few months later, he became the first West Ham player to score a Premier League hat-trick at the London Stadium.
The winger was named as West Ham’s club captain in August 2024, succeeding defender Kurt Zouma.

When did Jarrod Bowen marry Dani Dyer?
Speculations about Jarrod and Dani’s romance sparked after he was spotted leaving her Essex house in October 2021.
Shortly after, former Love Island star Dani confirmed the rumours to The Sun saying: “Jarrod is a lovely guy and we’re enjoying getting to know each other.”
The couple went public with their relationship on social media at the end of the year, sharing some ‘couple goals’ photos on Instagram.
Dani moved in with Jarrod in November 2022 after putting her £750k home on the rental market.

Their twin daughters, Star and Summer, were born in May 2023. Dani also shares a son Santiago with her ex Sammy Kimmence.
After three years of dating, Jarrod and Dani got engaged in July 2024.
They tied the knot in a star-studded bash on May 30, 2025.
The celebrities recited their vows in front of their loved ones at the five-star £500-a-night Langley Hotel in Buckinghamshire.
The bride decided to blend the two surnames, becoming Dyer-Bowen.

Is Jarrod Bowen a ‘gamer’?
Dani has recently revealed that she was left alone on the night before their wedding because her then-fiance was playing video games with his friends.
On the most recent episode of the Live and Let Dyers podcast, she said: “He went, ‘No, I don’t want to stay with you’. They were all taking, him and their mates, their PlayStations to the hotel.
“I was like, “You’re all a bunch of d***s. Why are you all excited over playing PlayStation when you’re going to be a husband?”
To make matters worse, the footballer opted for more gameplay on the popular console after the big day.
Danny fumed: “Then he said to me, ‘What are we doing on the Sunday after the wedding?’
“I said, ‘I don’t know, we’ll probably just be hanging, like, we’ll come home’.
“He went, ‘Oh, no, I just didn’t know if I could play football champs on the Sunday’.
“I went, ‘Yeah play football champs, that’s fine Jarrod, absolutely’.”
However, the married couple soon moved on from the incident as they splashed out on a £3k a night exclusive resort in Italy for their honeymoon.
