Woke Left fall over themselves to blame Trump for UK unrest – but the real culprit is a nasty man far closer to home

IT was when I was in a black taxi cab. And the meter ticked over to £70. And nobody was going anywhere. That’s when I had my idea. A great idea.

It was this. To hang the London Mayor Sadiq Khan up by his ears on my washing line.

And then to pelt him with tubs of rancid hummus. And to invite the neighbours to do the same thing.

Doesn’t have to be hummus. Anything several months past its sell-by date would be good.

And a fitting punishment for a man who is also past his sell-by date. The UK’s best-paid politician. God help us.

I was stuck in that cab because of Khan. Gridlock in London.

That’s what happens if you make the capital almost impossible to drive in.

Reducing the width of the roads. Bunging in cycle lanes which are not used. Blocking off half the junctions.

And then watch what happens when your own staff decide to go on strike for even more public money. No Tube trains at all. Just chaos.

Anyway, how the cabbies put up with it, gawd only knows. A city which is abominably badly run. I mention this because the wretched little squit has been sounding off about Donald Trump. Claims he has brought “toxic” politics to this country.

He means stuff like the Tommy Robinson march last Saturday. And everyone waving the cross of St George around.

Here’s the truth, Sadiq. It’s not Trump who brought that stuff to the UK. It’s not why all those people marched.

And it’s not why Reform is miles ahead in the polls.

Who is to blame? Well, largely, people like you.

The British public is sick and tired of being treated like second-class citizens in their own country. By stupid politicians who bleat on about diversity being marvellous. And then denigrate our history and our heritage.

People like you, Sadiq. Yes, people who spend ratepayers’ money on investigations as to why there aren’t enough cyclists of colour in the capital and shove rainbow pride flags up everywhere.

That sort of thing.

None of that is down to Trump. It’s down to you and people like you.

Hypocrites who slag off the Unite The Kingdom march for its supposed “violence”. But who think the Notting Hill Carnival is absolutely bloody marvellous — when there are 20 times the number of arrests and much more violence.

Carnival gets a free pass because it’s not something organised by whitey.

PAInstead of criticising Trump, Sadiq, sort out your own city[/caption]

Khan is the man whose first pledge was to “keep Londoners safe”.

And has presided over the worst rise in knife crime since records began.

That’s one of the reasons why people don’t want to come here, Sadiq.

He is a man who owes political success to a form of racism. By telling the ethnic minorities of London that they are oppressed. By banging on all the time about minorities and how marvellous they are.

I’ll leave the last word to Donald Trump, the US President and most important politician in the world, Sadiq. He calls you a nasty man and a “stone-cold loser”.

Sounds about right to me.

Trump won’t be calling in on London during his visit. Why would he? To get stabbed or to spend four hours in a cab?

Instead of criticising Trump, Sadiq, sort out your own city.

END OF SIR KEIR SHOW

NOBODY expected dynamic government from Sir Keir Starmer.

That would be like expecting dynamic government from a bowl of oxtail soup.

But Starmer was elected because we thought he might be competent.

And we could really do with some competence after the Johnson-Truss-Sunak years.

But have we ever had a Prime Minister who is LESS competent?

Was there anybody in the country, aside from Starmer, who did not see the Mandelson problem coming?

He comes to power on a number one priority to create growth in the economy. And with his Chancellor’s first Budget destroys the faintest prospect of that by raising employer National Insurance.

He’s got the biggest majority in modern memory and can’t get anything through Parliament.

His allies resign or depart like fleas jumping off the corpse of a two-days-dead Highland terrier. I give the dude six months.

He must surely be the most inept PM we have ever had.

Yes, including Truss.

Redford – cinema loses last true great

AlamyRobert Redford and Dustin Hoffman in All The President’s Men[/caption]

JUST like every other journo of about my age, it was the film All The President’s Men which got me hooked on the idea of being a hack.

This was the story of how two Washington Post reporters brought down Richard Nixon’s presidency.

The film starred Robert Redford and Dustin Hoffman, two wonderful actors.

Redford died this week at the age of 89. He was one of the real greats from the last golden age of Hollywood.

Yes, it helped that he was astonishingly handsome. But he could act a bit, too.

And, like his buddy Paul Newman, had a private life which was beyond reproach.

RIP, Mr Redford. We will not see your like again.

DIANE’S NUTJOB PARADE

WHO was the bigger threat to our way of life at that march on Saturday?

The 150,000 or so dressed in Union Jacks and St George flags? Or the 5,000 halfwits, led by Diane Abbott, from Stand Up To Racism?

That organisation is basically the Socialist Workers Party. A tiny group of nutjobs who want violent revolution in the country.

And yet they are treated by much of the media as if they were voices of sanity.

PLAN’S PLANE STUPID

SO . . . the first migrant flight has taken off.

This is part of Starmer’s one-in, one-out deal with the French.

Trouble is, there were no migrants aboard.

The lawyers had stepped in – as I said they would as soon as the stupid plan was announced.

Truth is, Starmer’s deal was never even intended to reduce the numbers of asylum seekers coming here illegally.

It was just a bit of PR to let people know he was doing something. A waste of time.

I will take notice of the PM on this subject when he adopts my plan for the migrants. Which is called none-in, 125,000-out.

ONE of the founders of the awful ice cream brand Ben & Jerry’s has resigned from the company.

Jerry Greenfield has thrown in the towel now that the company is owned by Unilever.

He says the multinational giant might not respect Ben & Jerry’s far-left social and political policies. Good.

They were odious policies in the first place. And it will be great to see Unilever ditch the lot of them.

And if they improve the flavour of the ice cream, that’ll be a bonus.

But I bet it still won’t be anywhere near as good as Haagen-Dazs.

IT seems as if Penny Mordaunt is thinking about a return to frontline politics.

Well, kind of good. The Conservatives can do with all the help possible right now.

But before we praise Penny, one question: Does she know if women have penises or not, yet?

She seemed to be very confused by the question last time she was asked.
