A MAN has been arrested and recalled to prison after a woman was allegedly murdered in her own home.

Tracie Guy, 54, died after being found with life threatening injuries at her address in Grantham, Lincolnshire, on Friday afternoon.

Emergency crews were scrambled to a property in Beck Gardens just before 4.45pm.

Despite the best efforts of paramedics, Tracie sadly died from her injuries.

A 42-year-old man was initially arrested on suspicion of murder and taken into custody, before being released on bail.

Lincolnshire Police confirmed he has since been re-called to prison following a breach in his bail conditions.

The force added that investigations remain ongoing into the alleged murder and forensic teams remain at the scene.

Detective Chief Inspector Claire Rimmer said: “Our thoughts are very much with the family at this difficult time.

“We are grateful for the support of the community as we complete our investigation into the circumstances surrounding this sad death.

“I would like to hear from anyone who was in the area of Beck Gardens between 4.20pm and 5pm on Friday 10 October.

“I would also ask that anyone who has recorded doorbell footage, CCTV etc gets in touch; it may have captured useful evidence.”

Tracie’s family have been informed and are being supported by specially-trained officers.
